Goose Audio Engineering

Goose Audio Engineering is the playground for audio engineering in the broadest sense of the word for me: Walter Goossens. I do recording/mixing but also creation of plugins and audio hardware. Having a background in electronics, programming and music production/recording makes me a very versatile sound engineer.

When working on projects I sometimes find something missing which would make my life easier. When possible/sensible I can create a plugin myself and share it with the world.
My plugin format of choice is LV2 because I use Ardour on Linux and LV2 is well supported there.

MIDIVelocityRaptor

This is a really simple MIDI domain compressor-type plugin. You can set a preferred velocity level and a percentage of "compression" to be applied. 100% compression means all notes are on the exact velocity value dialed in 0% means pass through.
